What counts as an email
One email = one credit
Each inbound message we read and parse — a carrier quote, a forwarded RFQ — spends one credit to classify and extract it. The emails LaneRate sends on your behalf don't count.
Counted per calendar month
Your allowance resets at the start of each month. Unused emails don't roll over, and nothing is pro-rated mid-month.
At the limit
When you hit your monthly count, new inbound emails stop being processed until the month resets or you upgrade. Your existing loads, quotes, and history stay fully available.
Pricing FAQ
What exactly counts as an email?
One inbound message that LaneRate reads and parses — classifying it and extracting the quote or request — is one email. Outbound messages we send to your carriers on your behalf are free and never counted.
Do I need a credit card to start?
No. The Free plan gives you 50 emails a month and every feature with no card on file. You only enter payment details if you choose to upgrade to Pro.
How am I billed for Pro?
Pro is a flat $49 per month, charged to your card through Stripe. It renews monthly until you cancel — there are no per-seat or usage overage charges.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel from your workspace billing settings whenever you like. Your plan stays active through the end of the period you've paid for, then drops back to Free.
What happens if I hit my monthly limit?
New inbound emails simply stop being processed for the rest of the month. Nothing you've already done is lost — your loads, quotes, and history remain available. Your count resets at the start of the next month, or you can upgrade to Pro for a higher ceiling.
Are any features locked behind Pro?
No. Free and Pro have exactly the same features. The only difference is how many emails you can process each month.
